Sutter County is a multi-district SELPA comprised of fourteen (14) Local Education Agencies (LEAs); twelve (12) local school districts, one (1) independent charter school and the Sutter County Superintendent of Schools (SCSOS). The LEAs are joined together to provide the coordinated delivery of programs and services to students/children with special needs. SCSOS is the designated Responsible Local Agency (RLA) or Administrative Unit (AU) for the Sutter SELPA.
