ABOUT US

The Sutter County Superintendent of Schools Technology Services Department is committed to ensuring the success of our students and staff in their use of technology. 
 
We provide network and technical support and service to Feather River Academy, Pathways Charter Academy, Sutter County One Stop, Shady Creek Outdoor School, Sutter County Adult Education, Sutter County Career Technical Center, Special Education classrooms and offices housed at other districts, and the SCSOS office.

1. How do I reset my password?

If you know your current password, you can reset your password by following these steps: LINK TO HOW TO.
If you forgot your password or are unable to login, contact the IT helpdesk at (530) 822-2999.

2. How do I submit an IT support ticket?

Go to our IT Support Ticket System at www.mytechdesk.org.
Log in with your staff credentials and fill out the required information.
You can track the status of your ticket through the same system.

3. How can I connect to the school network from home?

Follow the steps using the link below: VPN Setup Guide.
Follow the step-by-step instructions provided in the guide to establish a secure connection.

5. How do I access my email on my mobile device?

Refer to our Mobile Email Setup Guide for instructions on setting up your email on both Android and iOS devices.
If you face any issues, contact IT support for help.

6. What should I do if I suspect a phishing email?

Do not click on any links or open attachments in the email.
Forward the suspicious email to security@sutter.k12.ca.us.

7. How do I access the shared drives and resources?

Ensure you are connected to the school network (or via VPN if remote).
Open File Explorer and navigate to the appropriate shared drive.
If you do not have access, submit a request through mytechdesk.org.

9. How can I add a printer to my computer

Create a ticket and include the location of the printer along with make and model of the printer if known.

For urgent IT issues, contact the IT helpdesk at (530) 822-2999.
