Sutter County Superintendent of Schools

The Sutter County Superintendent of Schools Office is dedicated to delivering successful solutions to the challenges of our local and regional partners by providing innovative support and services to promote education and self-sufficiency.

The major responsibilities of the Sutter County Superintendent of Schools Office includes oversight of all county-operated programs under the direction of administrative staff and managers. The office provides support and leadership to the twelve districts, nine charter schools and district superintendents in the county. Additional responsibilities include hiring of personnel, planning board of education meetings, conducting Superintendents' Council meetings, providing support to other public agencies, responding to community requests, and interfacing with regional and state agencies.
